Our Commitment to Service
At Summerville Medical Center, our goal is assure you always have a positive experience when you come to our facility for health care services. Part of that goal is supported by the staff and volunteers who care for you in partnership with the physicians who bring their patients to our facility. We are proud of our progress in meeting this goal and would like to share our satisfaction survey results with you.
Patient Satisfaction

Each quarter, we survey a sample of our patients in four main categories:
- Emergency services
- Surgical services
- Outpatient testing and treatment
- Inpatient testing and treatment
These surveys are random and are conducted by Gallup. We look at our opportunities by area and work to exceed your expectations.
Employee Satisfaction

Once per year we survey our employees to determine opportunities to create a work environment where they can do meaningful work and provide excellent care to our patients. We measure satisfaction and engagement (commitment to the organization).
Turnover
Another important indicator of employee satisfaction at any organization is its turnover rate. The tables below list the most recent turnover rate statistics for employees at Summerville Medical Center.

Physician Satisfaction

Once per year we survey our physicians who practice predominantly at Summerville Medical Center to determine their perceptions of us as a hospital they would want to admit their patients to as well as recommend us to family and friends.
